Professor Andrew Church is a geographer with expertise in local economic, social and recreational analysis using Geographical Information Systems (GIS). He has over fifteen years experience as an academic researcher, policy adviser and consultant. His specialist areas of work include: empirical GIS-based analysis of the health, economic and social effects of tourism and leisure policies; stakeholder studies in the leisure and tourism field, and local economic and social analysis.
